Adapting to the future skills challenge

July 11th, 2024 - 2pm (AEST)

During this presentation Peter Grist will discuss the national and global trends that are driving an ever-increasing skills gap and changes in the type of interactions contact centres will handle in the future.

He’ll also explore the imperative to retrain and retain employees at an unprecedented rate and the changes contact centres will need to make to transform the way they develop their people.

Peter is fascinated by behaviour and what needs to be done to change it. A desire to understand why individuals and teams behave the way they do inside organisations and a passion for making a difference to the lives of people he works with has kept him with GRIST for over 20 years.

He believes that conversations are the lifeblood of organisations and that developing people leads to a sustainable point of differentiation for businesses.
